Today I entered into a discussion group on the Australian ABC forum.
The discussion was about Howard vs Rudd.
I complained about the fight of personalities, and said that it was merely a fight about which dictator you wanted to elect!
I suggested that the entire political party system was the real issue and that both major parties - even though their methods may differ slightly - were heading in the same collectivist direction. The whole political vote mechanism is designed to detract our attention from the real issues - to make us believe that we are involved in a democracy.
I said that it was the central banks that determined interest rates and that the government were powerless to influence their masters. I made notification that 11% of our wages (about one third of our taxes) go to pay the interest bills on international debts which were loaned to Australia - money made out of thin air! I suggested that the Australian government should re-claim its responsibility of issuing currency (rather than borrowing it from a bottomless pit of "financial fraud") and look after Australia first, before we look at surplus stock and foreign aid.
My comments were not published!
Ironically, any amount of slandering between these two party politicians gets published, but when the real issue is addressed - well, that is taboo!

how can you elect a dictator?
Hi Blinky,
The method used to gain a position of power is distinct from the exercising of that power once in office.
When we vote, we are given a choice between 2 evils - because the system is designed to ensure that one of the "big two" will get in.
Then, once in power, that leader has the ability to enforce rules over the citizens for a term of 3 years - mostly without the citizen's consent.
True representation is a myth - the only politicians who succeed are those who "tow-the-line" of their party (ref: Peter Garret).
True democracy is not just the power for the people to have their say on who will "dictate" the laws for the next three years, but to have a say on all issues - one issue at a time!
When the PM enacts a bad law we are told "well, YOU voted him in..."
Now these "big two" may have slightly different methods for running the country but they are both driving in the same direction on the same road - towards Socialism (the control of the people at the expense of the freedom of the people - supposedly for their own common good and safety).
Additionally, they are both servants of the banking system - which influences EVERY decision they make.
The entire political party system with all its focus on the personality of the candidates (which person are you more likely to trust?) distracts us from the real issue which is not WHO should run the country or even HOW should they run the country, but WHERE is the country going? - In WHAT direction should we be going?
It is my belief that there are too many laws, and too big a government. The government is supposed to represent the desires of the people, but instead they have convinced us to "leave the running of the country to us experts". This policy has succeeded to the point that we have almost no say in the running of our country EXCEPT TO ELECT THE PERSON WHO WILL DRIVE US in a direction which we have absolutely no say over at all.
I hope that explains the "election of a dictator"
boy you are very confusing,
you seem to take life very seriously, relazz and try to enjoy life,
If I "enjoy life" by sticking my head in the sand, then there will be no freedom left for my children to enjoy life - and they will say to me "if you knew about all this - then why did you do nothing?"
I DO enjoy life - especially the exercise of revealing the truth.
I love truth!
